If you want to receive notice of city council meetings, go to http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html click on "city" then "Clinton" then "city council" then click to subscribe.

I did notice that the newsletter read "the public is welcome at all regular city council meetings". But maybe not special budget meetings? I'm probably reading too much into their wording, but it did strike me as being pretty funny.

That just tells you what they're going to talk about, though. It doesn't really give you the flavor of having been there yourself.

If you want to have city council agendas e-mailed to you, simply e-mail your request to noticerequest@clintoncity.com and you will be added to the list.

Hi, Bryana! Thanks for the city meeting announcement below. It's great to have the public informed so that those who are interested can participate. That is the whole purpose here. For the record, we already do have a team of interested citizens who rotate attending every City Council meeting, not just the controvercial ones. I would like it if more of them would post their notes on here on every meeting as well, so that we can all be better informed. However, for the vast majority of residents, it is neither possible nor realistic to expect everyone to attend every meeting. That is why we rotate. But you can't slight people for showing up in droves on the topics of greater importance to them. That is both human nature and a good thing.

The Clinton City Council meeting are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7PM of every month. These meetings are also on the city calendar, located on the city website : www.clintoncity.net

All of Clinton City is invited to these meetings, they announce when they have additional meetings.

It'd be nice to see everyone there when the meetings are about positive topics, not just for the controversial topics.
